Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about N-Pan Tablets
What is N-Pan for?
It supports nervous system health and everyday wellbeing. The authorised claims come from its B vitamins and folate: contributing to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal psychological function, and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Why does it use L-methylfolate rather than ordinary folic acid?
L-methylfolate is the active form the body uses directly. Ordinary folic acid has to be converted first, and some people carry gene variants that make that conversion less efficient. Using the methylated form removes that step.
What is alpha lipoic acid doing in the formula?
It's included as part of the formulation at 50mg per tablet. There are no authorised health claims for alpha lipoic acid in the UK or EU, so we list it as an ingredient without attaching a benefit to it.
Why is the B12 figure so high?
Each tablet provides 1000µg of B12. B12 is water-soluble with no established upper safe level — the body takes up what it needs and clears the rest — so high percentages are routine in supplements of this type.
Can I take N-Pan long term?
It contains 15mg of vitamin B6 per tablet. UK guidance advises caution with prolonged high-dose B6 supplementation, so if you intend to take N-Pan continuously for several months, or you're taking anything else containing B6, please discuss it with your GP or pharmacist first.
Is it suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
The tablet is coated with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose rather than gelatin, so it's suitable for vegetarians. Contact us before ordering if you need vegan confirmation.
How should I take it?
One tablet daily with a meal, taken consistently.
